Motions Graphics Designer / Editor – Mid Weight

We are looking for a motion graphics designer to join our growing team based at Adastral Park near Ipswich (home of BT Research Labs). Working as part of a team to create interactive personalized video campaigns, you will have design flare and ability, being able to produce compelling and informative online video experiences. This is an amazing opportunity to join an online video start-up that is transforming the industry.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a broad motion graphics skillset, with a proven track record in creating compelling videos. You’ll have an excellent knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects and have a portfolio of great work. You’ll also be familiar with Adobe Premier and Adobe Audition.

Working under the guidance of our Creative Director you will be working in post-production, but will also play a role in pre-production storyboarding and graphics creation – therefore Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is essential. An understanding of video production practices, editing techniques, online video delivery, video formats and codecs and would also be of benefit.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Developer with back-end video experience to work on pioneering online video projects. The successful candidate will join our growing team based at Adastral Park near Ipswich (home of BT Research Labs) and help develop some of the most advanced video service applications based on our proven proprietary technology. This is an amazing opportunity to join an online video start-up that is transforming the industry.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent software development experience with web applications including HTML5 video technology
  • Experience delivering commercial large-scale software solutions.
  • Advanced JavaScript and JQuery software development experience
  • Extensive LAMP platform experience including PHP and MySQL software development
  • Experience working in an agile environment utilising TDD.

Desirable skills:

  • Experienced with HLS, HDS and / or MPEG-DASH and other HTTP video rate adaptation technologies
  • Expert understanding of HTML5 media playback features and device compatibility issues including feature detection, supported video formats and 3rd party library code and applications.
  • Extensive hands-on experience scripting FFMPEG filters to generate videos
  • Experience designing fault tolerant infrastructure using AWS EC2 and other AWS services.
